BIO
Stephanie LaVigne has done a bit of everything. After spending years in the NYC film industry and as a professional photographer specializing in underwater portraits, she eventually settled into her favorite phase of life yet: as an urban adventurer and full-time fiction writer.
From hopping trains across the US to crewing a sailboat on a trans-Atlantic crossing, from mushing dogs on a Canadian dogsled to unwittingly hiking Mount Washington (which, as a native Floridian is a big deal), she’s been lucky enough to have incredible adventures with all kinds of real-life characters. Whether sleeping on sailboats, in front yards, in yurts, tents, castles, squats, luxury hotels, fleabag motels, on couches, under fold-out tables on film sets, in hammocks, or on freight trains, you will find her laughing loudly and proclaiming that, if nothing else, her life has never been dull.
She currently lives in her favorite South Florida neighborhood surrounded by palm trees, peacocks, a few wild kids, one wild husband, and a handful of incredible family and neighbors.
Her books combine quirkiness, fun, intrigue, and adventure, backed by a strong and interesting cast of characters. Enjoy the ride!

3.) An Epiphany
It all started in Key Largo, FL. Two friends, a self-imposed writer's retreat, and a sunhat. That weekend The Oceanside Widows' Club was born and I embarked on a new career as a secret writer/publisher via pen names in order to learn the business.
4.) The Now
Full-time parent. Full-time writer. Full-time professional crazy person from trying to juggle the above two.
